Graduating Exhibtition Artwork: Past Due

Here is my artwork from the 2009 Graduating exhibition Past Due at the Sir Wilfred Grenfell College Art Gallery in CornerBrook Newfoundland. This piece is a 2ft by 4ft hand embroidery on canvas. The piece is called Before The Fall and it is my favorite piece from my fourth year work.

Hey,
So this is my first post on my blog, good times.
A bit about myself.
I am 22 and just completed my Bachelor in Fine Arts, Visual Arts on May 15th in CornerBrook Newfoundland.
The art I have found myself drawn to is embroidery and textiles. Working with colour and fabric excites my imagination.
I also work with found object sculpture, knitting, painting, and so on.
